ExactChem™ is a solution developed to optimize chemical dosing in agricultural equipment, focusing on precision, efficiency, and ease of field integration. I was actively involved in the development of the system, collaborating closely with the global engineering team throughout the entire project lifecycle.
My contributions included the design of key mechanical components, interface definition with other subsystems, functional validation, and continuous iteration with manufacturing and field testing. Many of the parts and solutions I proposed are now part of the final production kit.
As part of this project, I also gained in-depth expertise in plastic injection molding. I designed multiple components using this manufacturing process, which led me to develop an internal capability and publish an Engineering Knowledge Value to document and share best practices with the entire Mexico Engineering team.
Beyond ensuring system robustness, my approach emphasized assembly simplification and ease of maintenance, reducing installation times and minimizing user error. This project exemplifies how strategic engineering design can create tangible value for both the end user and operational efficiency in the agricultural sector.
